This past weekend my husband and I finally decided to go to Haji Lane for a date night. It was so fun with live music, restaurants and bars. There were so many cute boutiques but unfortunately we were there pretty late and most of the shops were closing down for the day so I knew that I had to make my way back another day.
After waiting for the rain to die down, I finally got in an Uber and went straight back to Haji lane to see what it’s like during the day. There are so many boutiques and clothes for mostly every style I was so overwhelmed yet excited at the same time. Also, I’m pretty sure there are more thrift stores in Singapore, but I happened to find my first one here. There are also shops everywhere, you really have to keep an eye out for hidden stairs between stores or else you might miss out on a pretty cool boutique.
I also came across some pretty awesome street art while walking along Haji lane, Bali lane and Baghdad.
The highlight of my day was #SelfieCoffee. After I ordered my cup of java, the cashier handed me a phone and asked me to take a selfie. I was so confused but he told me that my selfie was going to be on my coffee.
I suck at selfies but I seriously could not get over the concept of this. To top it off, the cream is very edible and delicious!
It seems like there’s always something to do here in Kampong Glam..especially Haji Lane both day and night. I’m definitely in love with this place.
